Annalee Anderson Elquist

Anna Lee has had nearly 20 years teaching experience.  Her training began at a very young age and she continued all through high school and on into college.  She was a member of the (then) Ricks College "Contemporary Dance" Theater performing/travelling group, with whom she had the opportunity to tour Japan in the Spring of 1993.  That fall, she became a member of USU's Aggiettes.  She had auditioned and made the Mane Line Dance Co. of BSU, but turned down the opportunity to move to Logan.  Her declared major was Dance and she also majored in Nutrition during her college years.
Anna Lee began teaching jazz and ballet in Burley, ID for Julie Goodfellow of Julie's Danceworks soon after getting married in 1995.  In 1999, she helped her sister, Tasha, to open and direct a new studio (Main Motion, Studio of Dance) in Oakley, ID.  She's been teaching ever since, primarily in Oakley, and has loved the opportunity to observe dancers grow in their Main Motion program and graduate from high school as beautiful dancers with a great love for the art and expression that dance is.
She has taught all forms of group fitness through the years, including Zumba, Yoga and Personal Training.  Anna Lee will teach Advanced Ballet and Pointe.
